Peanut Butter Honey and Salami Sandwich

My mother-in-law developed this sandwich years and years ago and my husband grew up eating it.  I tried it for the first time as an adult and love it.  Yes, it sounds strange and I struggled to get a flattering picture of it, but it truly is delicious and a family favorite.  Give it a try!

Cook time:  5 minutes
Servings:  1

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices whole grain bread
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 ounce sliced salami

Instructions:

  1. Spread peanut butter evenly on one slice of bread
  2. Drizzle honey over the peanut butter
  3. Place salami over the honey and top with second slice of bread
  4. Slice sandwich in half and enjoy immediately
