Mixed Berry and Spinach Protein Smoothie

This is my go to recovery smoothie after a workout.  It’s also a great way to get a serving of vegetables in with breakfast.  If you’re into any of these special eating plans, it has the following values:

  • THM – FP (2 carbs over but well under fat allowance so I let it slide. Purists beware.)
  • WW –  3 points
  • Beachbody containers: 1 green, 1 purple, 1 red

Cook time:  5 minutes
Servings:  1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (omit blueberries if doing THM)
  • 1 cup fresh Spinach
  • 1 scoop Shakeology (Vanilla, Greenberry, Strawberry, or Vegan Strawberry flavor)
  • 1/2 tsp matcha powder (optional)
  • 1 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender
  2. Secure lid tightly
  3. Blend until smooth, approximately one minute
  4. Pour into a cup (if needed) and enjoy immediately
